Yes — every KOSIN product ships with the batteries it needs. The BBQ Grill Light (2-Pack) includes 6 AAA batteries, and the Safety Alarms include AG13/LR44 batteries. You're ready to use them the moment you open the box.
Yes. KOSIN Personal Safety Alarms are compact and plane-safe. They can be packed in carry-on or checked luggage without any TSA restrictions. Their small size also makes them easy to keep clipped on keys or in a purse during travel.
The KOSIN BBQ Grill Light is water resistant — built to handle rain, splashes, and snow. It's also heat resistant, constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy that withstands high grill temperatures without damage or deformation.
The magnetic base works with any grill made from magnetic metal (steel or iron), which includes the vast majority of gas and charcoal grills — including Traeger, Pit Boss, Weber, Char-Broil, and many more. If your grill is metallic, it will almost certainly work.
To activate: pull the pin. The alarm starts immediately at 140dB or 145dB depending on your model. To stop the alarm: re-insert the pin. The design is intentionally simple so anyone — including children and seniors — can use it instantly in an emergency.
